Mission Accomplished,” Says Supt. Carl Greaux After Leading RSS Security Command at ACTIF 2025 in Grenada

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS — August 6, 2025
Superintendent Carl Greaux of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has declared “Mission Accomplished” following his successful command of the Regional Security System (RSS) contingent deployed to Grenada for the 4th AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF) 2025.

Held from July 27th to 29th in St. George’s, Grenada, the high-profile ACTIF 2025 brought together key leaders and stakeholders in trade, diplomacy, and investment from Africa and the Caribbean. The Regional Security System played a critical role in ensuring a safe and secure environment throughout the forum.

Superintendent Greaux, who is based in Barbados, was appointed RSS Contingent Commander for the operation. He led personnel from RSS Member States including Barbados, St. Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and St. Lucia.

“Upon arrival, all RSS personnel were formally briefed and sworn in by Commissioner of Police Mr. Randy Connaught of the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF),” Greaux explained. “This legal and procedural integration ensured full operational legitimacy and alignment with Grenada’s national laws.”

RSS officers undertook multiple critical roles including delegate driving, close protection support, out rider operations, visible patrol presence, venue and perimeter security, as well as traffic and crowd control. All security operations were fully coordinated with the RGPF Operations Command to ensure synergy and situational awareness.

Greaux emphasized that the mission’s success was in direct alignment with the intent of the RSS Executive Director — to promote public safety and enable an environment of peace and stability essential for trade and diplomatic collaboration.

During a formal debriefing ahead of troop redeployment, Commissioner Connaught and Superintendent Greaux expressed gratitude to the officers for their exemplary dedication and service. Certificates of recognition and commemorative plaques were distributed to honor their contribution to the security of ACTIF 2025.

Reflecting on the assignment, Supt. Greaux confidently stated, “Mission accomplished.”

The Regional Security System continues to be a pillar of stability and cooperation in the Eastern Caribbean, reinforcing regional solidarity and operational excellence through joint missions such as ACTIF 2025.
