BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, August 5, 2025 – The St. Kitts and Nevis Robotics Association (SKNRA) has hailed its 3rd Annual RoboMindset Summer Camp a resounding success, calling it more than just a robotics camp — but a transformative experience designed to shape the innovators and problem-solvers of tomorrow.

The camp, which concluded over the weekend, brought together bright young minds from across the Federation to engage in a dynamic learning experience that blended coding, robotics engineering, and critical thinking.

This wasn’t just about robotics — it was about developing problem-solving skills, fostering teamwork, and inspiring a mindset of curiosity and innovation,” said the SKNRA in a post-camp statement. “From coding their very first lines of code to building robots that could navigate obstacle courses, our campers have gone above and beyond, showing us just how bright the future of technology truly is.

The highly anticipated final competition of the camp featured eight talented teams — five from St. Kitts and three from Nevis — with Charlestown Secondary School emerging as the overall winner, showcasing exceptional creativity and technical skill.

Every challenge faced and every project completed has helped shape a generation of future engineers, programmers, and innovators,” the release added. “We are incredibly proud of every participant who joined us on this journey. Your hard work, creativity, and determination were nothing short of inspiring.

The SKNRA also extended heartfelt appreciation to the mentors, volunteers, supporters, and sponsors whose contributions made the 2025 camp a memorable and impactful event.

The impact you’ve made will resonate far beyond the classroom. As we close this chapter, we’re already looking forward to what’s next. The RoboMindset journey doesn’t end here — it’s only just beginning.

With hashtags like #RoboMindset, #STEMFuture, #YouthInTech, and #NextGenLeaders, the SKNRA continues to build momentum around youth empowerment through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Plans are already underway for future initiatives and camps, as the association looks to further entrench robotics and technology education within the nation’s academic and youth development framework.
