Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Shawn K. Richards and Romanian Ambassador to St.Kitts-Nevis Her Excellency Madame Serbu
The Hardest working Deputy Prime Minister in the Caribbean the Hon. Shawn K Richards on Monday November 12th, hosted Romanian Ambassador Gentiana Serbu . The Minister of Education engaged Her Excellency Madame Serbu in a very productive and meaningful discussion which was focussed on educational opportunities that are now available to citizens of St.Kitts-Nevis to pursue studies in Romania. The Ambassador particularly emphasized that scholarships are available to pursue studies in various fields at the bachelors, masters and doctorate levels.
DPM Richards indicated that details of the scholarships will be made available to the public shortly.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Hon. Mark Brantley and Her Excellency Madame Serbu
The Ambassador also met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Premier of Nevis Hon. Mark Brantley. Gentiana Serbu is the first ever Romanian Ambassador to St Kitts and Nevis.
Minister Brantley discussed matters of mutual interest of both the countries with the top diplomat.
