For the first time since 2011 six contestants are vying for the title of Miss St.Kitts-Nevis National Carnival Queen 2015-16 . The show features 4 contestants from St.Kitts and two from Nevis . The beautiful young beauty queens all in their ow right, were officially introduced to the world with a media launch at the newly renovated Ocean Terrace Inn on St. Kitts today (October 17th, 2015) .

This was the earliest date that contestants have been launched for the annual show . With a brand new Committee and new Chairperson Attorney Violet Williams a past Queen Pageant Contestant, the Annual National Queen Pageant is expected to be of a very high standard .

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, Hon. Shawn Richards was present and gave the contestants encouragement and assures both the contestants and the committee the full support of his Ministry as well as the government .
