BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, April 14, 2018 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris will update nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis living in London, England, on key developments taking place in the twin island Federation and the numerous achievements of the Team Unity Government.
This will be done when Prime Minister Harris hosts a town hall styled meeting in the British capital on Sunday, April 15, at Stoke Place, Stoke Green, Slough SL2 4HT. The meeting commences at 2:30pm.
Dr. Harris, who will be supported by Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Honourable Mark Brantley, is expected to update nationals on the stewardship of his Team Unity Administration, which includes delivering on more than 20 major promises made.
Prime Minister Harris’ meeting with Kittitians and Nevisians in the Diaspora is a precursor to the 2018 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), which will be held in London from 16th-20th April.
CHOGM 2018 will bring together leaders from 53 nations to address the shared global challenges currently being faced and agree on how to work to create a better future for all citizens of the Commonwealth.
Prime Minister Harris and Minister Brantley are being accompanied at the Heads of Government meeting by Cabinet Secretary, Mrs. Josephine Huggins; Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Kaye Bass; Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, Mr. Andrew Skerritt; and St. Kitts and Nevis High Commissioner to the UK, His Excellency Dr. Kevin Isaac.
The St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister is coming off a very successful visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Asia where he held several rounds of productive engagements with international marketing agents and potential investors on the new options now available under the country’s Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme.
