Former Special Advisor in the Dr. Denzil Douglas led Administration and well known businessman and social commentator Clecton Phillip has been officially appointed as the New Press Secretary to newly elected St.Kitts-Nevis Prime Mnister Dr. The Hon Timothy Harris.

Phillip served as the General Secretary of the Dr. HARRIS led People’s Labour Party, one of the partners in the Team UNITY Alliance Administration.

The experienced Communications Specialists served as a special advisor to former Prime Mnister Dr. Denzil Douglas and is the owner of the Telecommunication Company Cariglobe who partnered with UTS to bring the Chippie Telecom company to St.Kitts-Nevis.

Phillip was a part of the very formidable Team UNITY Communications and Media Relations Team which was credited with the very creative and dominant political media campaign which was a major factor in the ouster of the Dr. Denzil Douglas led regime.

Phillip’s first official release was  issued on Wednesday March 25^th with dissemination of the Prime Minister’s State of the Nation Address and related News Story.

Erasmus Williams who served as Press Secretary to former PM Douglas for almost 2 decades  had his contract terminated. News reports indicated that Williams confirmed that he was notified that his contract had been “determined” (concluded) with immediate effect.
