The Soca Boss and Sugar Mas Groovy Soca Monarch Mr Bagnall along with the man himself Nicha B are set to join Ten talented beauties from around the region to rock the stage in this year’s 36^th annual Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant.

The Pageant, which is considered to be the most prestigious pageant of its kind in the Caribbean, has seen many big name Caribbean entertainers grace its stage over the its 30 years history. Performers including soca King and Queen Machel Montano and Allison Hinds as well as Edwin Yearwood, Jamesy P, Rupee, Reggae Crooner Christopher Martin and Bomani have all graced the Miss Caribbean Teen Pageant stage. Former pageant contestants and current popular performing artistes Claudette “CP” Peters and Pat Raguette have also performed along with Trinidadian comedians Rachel Price, Tommy Joseph and Jamaican radio personality Jenifer Jenny Jenny Small.

Vying for the prestigious crown this year are:

Anguilla – Jovoncia Protor-17yrs

Barbados – Beviny Payne – 16yrs

Ms Dominica -Lécresha Wallace – 16yrs

Grenada -Aina Cenac – 18yrs

Jamaica – Jenelle Baldie – 18yrs

Nevis-Neila Jones-18yrs

St. Kitts – Rikki Blake Brookes – 15yrs

St. Maarten – Jondalin Brown -13yrs

USVI- Akira Pickering-Haynes – 14yrs

 

 

“We have had stars over the years as you know, this is a major feature of the pageant itself to (that is) to have a superstar come in and be the guest artiste such as Machel  Montana,  Claudette Peters and Allison Hinds. I believe that  both Mr Bagnall and Nicha B our local superstars are currently on the same level as anyone of the big regional artistes out there and we’re proud that we are at a stage where we could choose not one but two of our own and bring the same level of entertainment that we would expect from the so called big regional artistes. The Genesis Band will be providing the music and they too also feature another local superstar DeJour. So the show promises to be one of the most exciting and entertaining shows we’ve ever staged,” remarked longtime Committee member  and Pageant Marketing Sub Committee Chairperson Wallis Wilkin .

The show is slated to take place on Tuesday 29th December, 2015 at the Sugar Mas Sugar Mill on Port Zante, St.Kitts
