Shakki Starfire has released her Groovy Soca Competition track for this years St.Kitts –Nevis Sugar Mas 44 Soca Monarch Competition and it is clear she is heading for her 3rd title with this hot new release. Shakki has won the St.Kitts Party Monarch, the Sugar Mas Groovy Monarch as well as the Culturama Road March Titles and this year she will be going for her Second Groovy Soca Monarch Title.

Her Groovy Soca Track is called “TRADITION” and is on the YABADASHI Riddim which is produced by Jabari Stephens
The Track was released on ZIZ Radio with Gee Cue. The track is already in heavy rotation and has instantly made her a clear favourite to win this years Groovy Soca Monarch Title.

TRADITION features melodic guitar strums and pulsating percussion beats and the song’s lyrics manifest images of the old time TRADITIONS of a St.Kitts Carnival including Masquerades, Mansion Bull, Folklore, Pulsating Ryhthyms and the euphoria created by females dancers “WUKKING UP” (Twerking) and enjoying themselves in a fete and street jam session. The track has been described as very ‘danceable’ and captivating from the song’s first instrumental note.”
