Collins was expected to join his Team SKN on Sunday but the missed flight no doubt did not allow for that. He is now expected on Wednesday in time for the weekends Sprints opening rounds.
Kim is one of the most popular athletes expected at the Rio Olympics. His appearance at the Olympics will be historic being the Oldest Sprinter at the games and also being the first Male sprinter to participate in 5 Olympic games. Collins is the fastest man in history over the age of 35 and the fastest 40 year old ever.
He is the only athlete from his country to ever run under 10 seconds and at 40 remains the fastest athlete on the Team St.Kitts-Nevis which also includes Antoine Adams, Jason Rogers, Lestrad Roland and Allister Clarke along with the lone female Tameka Williams.
Collins will take part in the 100m and the 4x 100m relay.
