Have You Seen the Most Fabulous Villas in the World at Four Season in Nevis? Here is a Sneak Peak

I have traveled much of the world, but have spent a significant amount of time island-hopping in the Caribbean. It’s fair to say I have built a connoisseur’s appreciation for the region, and in particular the geography and culture of its many fascinating islands. Nevis is the archetypal Caribbean island: stunning scenery, warm sunshine, soft sandy beaches and clear blue waters. This is why I have begun to consider securing my own little slice of paradise.

Recently I was lucky enough to take a look around the villas at the Four Seasons Resort Estates and suffice to say, I was impressed. What the Four Seasons have managed to achieve is contemporary, clean and relaxing spaces, all with luxurious fittings in a location that is quite simply, awe-inspiring.

Everything about these villas exudes luxury. They have been built to specifications laid down by expert architects with an innate understanding of form, lines and lighting. Whether that’s framing a view of the imposing Nevis Mountain, or being able to enjoy outside space without losing the sense of privacy. The architects have done an exceptional job.

At the macro level, the villa I toured oozed quality at every turn. The craftsmanship of the fixtures and fittings was exquisite. Even the lighting that had been incorporated within the property was simply beautiful to anyone who laid eyes on it, and they were no doubt installed by professionals similar to Aardvark Electric, Inc. This team of electricians has also been known for their repair service too, so homeowners can keep their chosen lights for even longer. Can it get any better? Actually, yes it can. When mixed with the chic interior design, the impact of the high wooden ceilings and stone floors is breathtaking – those looking to attempt a chic interior design in their own homes may want to consider something like mural wallpaper which could add a certain luxuriousness to a room. The property was the epitome of understated luxury, complimented by its very relaxed Caribbean ambience.

During my tour, I had a sneak peak of a four bedroom villa, although I am told that there will also be three bedroom cottages available. The sense of space was incredible. As you entered the villa there was a central courtyard, a turn to the left revealed two downstairs and one upstairs bedroom, all with en-suites, and the master bedroom boasting an outdoor shower. Each bedroom was so bright with tasteful wall decor and they each had a really modern feel to them as you walked in. For those looking to add a modern mood into their homes, looking into Bumblejax metal prints and other wall decor companies would be a good choice, as the photography element of wall art gives a very futuristic look. A large balcony with enough room for sun loungers and a table was a nice addition, particularly as it felt very private and secluded.

Across the courtyard, in the main house was the kitchen, dining and living area. Flooded with light, this part of the villa overlooked the patio and private pool, courtesy of the large floor-to-ceiling sliding doors. On the day I visited, the entire space was radiant, and the sunlight reflected from the pool and into the villa. The fourth bedroom was located in a completely separate cottage, perfect for entertaining guests and providing just a little more privacy.

Four Seasons Resort Estates Nevis Property Golf

Situated at the edge of the Four Seasons Resort and sympathetically nestled between the lawns and water features of the golf course, the villas were well placed and just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. I could really see myself at home in one of these fabulous villas while enjoying all the Caribbean has to offer. My advice to anyone considering investing in property in the Caribbean, and on Nevis in particular, would be to take a look quickly as demand is undoubtedly going to be high. 1031 exchange can even help with property investments if anyone is new to this game. It’s not easy to invest in property, especially when you’re not as knowledgable as you could be but the investment nearly always pays off. It certainly will in this tropical paradise.
