The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis has Established Diplomatic Relations with Brunei Darussalam.

The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, formalized the establishment of diplomatic relations with Brunei Darussalam at the Ambassadorial level, in a ceremony on 21st February, 2017. The Permanent Representative of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis to the United Nations, H.E. Mr. Sam Terrence Condor and his counterpart of the Brunei Darussalam Permanent Mission to the United Nations, H. E. Mr. Dato Paduka Abdul Ghafar Ismail, signed a Joint Communiqué in which both countries agreed to develop friendly relations and cooperation with each other on the basis of the principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations and the norms of International law. Both Ambassadors discussed ways of mutual corporation especially in the area of education and empowering our youth and may in the near future sign another agreement.

Diplomatic relations between the two countries is a sign that they are keen to bolster the ties of friendship and mutual interests.
