Dead Masquerader Found At Trinidad’s Queen’s Park Savannah Identified as Well Known Japanese Pannist
Port of Spain, Trinidad (February 11 th 2016):- The masquerader discovered in the Queen’s Park Savannah on Wednesday morning has been identified as Asami Nagakiya, a well known pannist from Japan who regularly visits every carnival season to participate in Panorama with the Silver Stars Steel Orchestra.
Around 9.30am two men saw the body of the woman lying under a tree in the Savannah opposite the Queen’s Royal College. The body was clad in a yellow costume.
The police were notified.
One man who said he first discovered the body said the woman’s arm bore a slash and her body was bruised.
