By-By Leads Hitters to the SKNABA National Bank Premier Finals
Basketball City, St.Kitts (August 27th 2016):- The RAMS Hitters have once again booked a spot in the SKNABA National Bank Premier Division Finals behind the great play of the veteran Levi “By-By” Fyfeild . The former 19 Time Champions booked their spot after an impressive 86-60 Game 3 victory over the Development Bank Challengers Exodus.
Levi Fyfield scored the most points with 21 pts and 8 rebs
The first Quarter of the game was fairly even but the remaining 3 quarters were for the most part all Hitters. Fyfeild led the way for the Hitters with 21 pts and 8 rebs. Marlon Powell and Daryl Lewis combined for 29 pts with Powell chipping in 6 rebs and 6 assists. Ansel Revan had 7 rebs and 7 stls
Geron Elliott led the Challengers Exodus with 22 pts while Delvin Marshall assisted with 6pts and 12 rebs.
The Exodus loss ends an unexpected run in the 2016 playoffs. The Coach Glen Ghost Phillip led team ended the regular season as the 6th seed. However they upset the 3rd seeded Atiba Harris St. Peters Runnerz and booked their spot in the final 4. They continued their run with an impressive game 2 victory in their final four series vs Hitters.
The RAMS Hitters will now await the winner of the Browne Construction St.Pauls Tuff Knots and SOL Fig Tree Revellers. The deciding Game 3 of that series takes place on Tuesday August 30th at Basketball City.
