A Sugar Mas Mr Kool and National Swimsuit Competition are among the new additions to this years National Carnival Sugar Mas 45.

Both events will be introduced for the first time as part of the National Carnival/Sugar Mas 44 schedule of events and activities.
Carnival Chairman Noah Mills met with almost 40 members of the new National Carnival Committee on Saturday past at the Mau Pau Event Center on Port Zante. The all day retreat /workshop was an opportunity for the Committee members to be officially introduced to each other and to discuss the mission and goal of the committee moving forward.
Sources close to the committee have indicated that Executive Director of the St.Kitts Music Festival Allister Williams and TeleCommunications Executive Burchelle Crooke have been tipped to assist Chairman Mills as Co-Deputy Chairpersons of the Carnival Committee.
