Tassaney Steinbergen Gets Best CXC Results in St.Kitts-Nevis
Tassaney Steinbergen of the Verchild’s High School received the best CXC results in the Federation of St.Kitts-Nevis . The 16 year old attained 13 Distinctions out of 15 subject passes!! Steinbergen was recognized in 2014 as one of the 25 most Remarkable Teens and is being described by most as one of the most well rounded students-athletes in the history of the federation Tassaney is the Vice Captain of the St.Kitts National Under 16 Team and has represented St. Kitts in several championships. She travelled to Antigua and St. Vincent as a member of the St. Kitts Under 14 National Netball team and has also represented the Verchilds High School in Netball. She is the captain of her school’s Netball team, a position that she gained in 2014 after serving as the Vice Captain in 2012 and 2013. Further, she currently holds the position of Goal Keeper on the Verchild’s High School Female Football team. Tassaney has participated in a number of track events at the Verchilds High School and has represented her school at the TDC Interschool meet. She placed 3rd in the 400meters hurdles in both 2013 and 2014.
Tassaney is a member of the 8th St. Kitts Girls Bridgade and the Ebinezer Methodist Youth Choir. She received a certificate of appreciation from the CPL Committee for outstanding Volunteer work during the recently completed CPL games.
