Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 26, 2018 (RSCNPF): The Police received reports of shots being fired in Saddlers on May 25, 2018.

 

Several units responded. Preliminary investigations so far have revealed that at about 10:30 p.m., a number of persons were by a shop along the Island Main Road when they heard gun shots being fired and they ran. Further enquiries revealed that Javed Daniel who resides in Saddlers Village was shot several times about the body. He was transported to the J.N.F. Hospital in a private vehicle where he underwent emergency surgery and is listed as being in a stable condition.

 

Police investigations into the matter are ongoing. Persons with information regarding this incident are urged to call the Violent Crimes Unit at 467-1887, 467-1888, 662-3468.
