ST.KITTS POLICE REMOVES ANOTHER ILLEGAL FIREARM FROM OUR COMMUNITIES
Illegal Firearm, ammunition and silencer seized on Friday July 22
Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 23, 2016 (RSCNPF): A search warrant executed late Friday night (July 22) has resulted in the seizure of the eighteenth (18) illegal firearm from our communities.
The warrant was executed on a residence in Ponds Pasture.
Seized during the search was one (1) Mac 10 semi-automatic pistol, with two extended magazines, ammunition and a silencer.
The illegal firearm and the associated find was discovered by one of the Police K-9 assets.
Nine persons in the residence are in Police custody as the investigation continues.
21 Illegal firearms were removed from our communities in 2015.
