A St.Maarten born and St.Kitts raised man was shot and Killed in St.Maarten on Monday after an apparent robbery attempt . The man has ben identified as Kevin Dyer.  According to  reports dyer man was shot and killed during an attempt to rob a man and his son  who were at the time driving  their car on Chin Cherry road. Reports state that the Dyer was one of two male suspects who were armed with guns and who attempted to rob the two individuals . Shots were fired by the suspects at the victim who was also carrying a gun and who returned fire fatally injuring Dyer. The other suspect fled the scene on foot into the neighborhood.

 

Dyer was born September 27, 1988 in St.Maarten but grew up and lived most of his life in St.Kitts with his last known address at Wingfield Road, Old Road in St.Kitts.

Dyer was a well known employee of Island Purified Water on St.Kitts and worked at the popular establishment until very recently according to reliable sources.   

Family members of Dyer arrived in St. Maarten from St.Kitts  to identify the body.
