A  Saddlers man has been arrested and charged for the recent armed robbery of a Fraites bread van.

The Police Force Public Relations Unit has confirmed that Javed Daniel of Saddlers Village has been arrested and charged for the Wed Oct 19^th Robbery.

Reports indicate that Daniel allegeldy  brandished a gun and robbed the bread van driver of his money bag in Saddlers. Daniel was apparently shot by the Van Driver in his robbery attempt and  turned up at the Cayon Police station some time later that day and filed a report claiming that he had been attacked by masked men who opened fire on him and struck him in his leg.

The Police investigated his story and apparently in so doing made the connection with the Fraites Bus Robbery . As a result Daniel was arrested and charged immediately upon discharge from the JNF Hospital where he was hospitalized for a few days for treatment of his injury.
