ST.KITTS: Premier Amory is Acting Prime Minister While PM Harris Attends ECCB Monetary Council Meeting in Anguilla

Basseterre, St.Kitts (July 24th 2015):- Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris will leave the Federation to attend the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) Monetary Council meeting which will take place in Anguilla on Friday, July 24, 2015.

The meeting will be preceded by the official handover of the Chairmanship of the ECCB Monetary Council to the Hon. Victor F. Banks, Chief Minister and Minister of Finance of Anguilla, who takes over from Dr. the Hon. Ralph E. Gonsalves, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Prime Minister Harris will be accompanied by Financial Secretary, Mrs Hilary Hazel.
During Dr. Harris’ absence, Senior Minister the Hon. Vance Amory will act as Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Sustainable Development.
The Hon. Ian ‘Patches’ Liburd will act as Minister of National Security and the Hon. Vincent Byron will act as Minister of Information, Constituency Empowerment and People Empowerment.
