MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS MEETS WITH ST.KITTS SCHOLARSHIP STUDENT IN SERBIA
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Premier of Nevis Hon. Mark Brantley was delighted to meet and spend some time with young Kittitian student Shaniqua Harris in Belgrade Serbia where she is pursuing a degree on scholarship as part of the scholarship Programme between the St.Kitts-Nevis government and the government of Serbia.
“While it has not been all easy for this young lady, it is clear that she is motivated and will do well in her studies. I was specially thrilled to hear her make small talk with the waiter in the Serbian language,” said Premier Brantley.
Foreign Affairs Minister Brantley declared “Shaniqua is blazing a trail for others to follow and I hope that her bold step to study in Serbia will motivate other young Nevisians and Kittitians to take up these scholarship opportunities when offered. Always remember that a quality education for free is much better than saddling your families and yourselves with huge student loans. So when you see these scholarship opportunities please APPLY APPLY APPLY!!”
I was very impressed with young Shaniqua and believe that she is a role model for other young people to follow. I wish her every success in her studies.
