Massive Search Launched for Missing Media Icon “Lord Black” Edwards on St. Kitts
The island of St. Kitts is rallying together in a massive search effort for Constantine “Lord Black” Edwards, a beloved media icon and former calypsonian, who has been missing for over a week. The search party, set to begin at 5:00 AM on Saturday, August 10th, will assemble on the lawn in front of the Chinese building in Saddlers Village, as the community continues to hope for his safe return.
Edwards, widely known as “Conse,” is a resident of a seniors home in Saddlers and has been diagnosed with dementia. His disappearance has sent shockwaves through the community, prompting an extensive search by local authorities. Despite scouring the mountains, beaches, and other areas, there has been no sign of Edwards so far.
The situation has become increasingly urgent due to recent rainy conditions on the island and concerns about Edwards’ medication needs. His distraught daughter, who has taken to social media to share her worries, expressed disappointment in the lack of progress but remains hopeful that her father will be found.
The search party on Saturday is expected to draw a large turnout as friends, family, and community members unite in their efforts to locate Edwards. The disappearance of “Lord Black,” a cherished figure in St. Kitts’ cultural and media landscape, has touched the hearts of many, sparking a widespread outpouring of support.
As the search continues, the community remains vigilant, holding onto hope that Conse Edwards will soon be found and reunited with his loved ones.
