Dr Dale Crawford
Dr Dale Crawford a consultant, gynecologist and obstetrician has won his 3 year long Court battle. In 2014 Crawford brought a case against the then Dr Denzil Douglas-led SKN Labour/NRP Government after what he and the court deemed as his wrongful suspension from Operating priviliges at the JNF Hospital.
On November 27th after an extended High Court Battle, Justice Marlene Carter, former resident High Court Judge ruled in Dr. Crawford’s favor.
The court ordered a declaration that the actions of the public service commissions recommendation to the Governor General was in contravention of section 32 of the public service act and of section 6 of the public service code of discipline.
Dr Crawford was suspended when he was advised on 7th October 2014 by the Chairman of the Medical Board Dr Patrick Martin, of allegations of serious misconduct against him and that the Medical Board has suspended his operating room privileges.
Dr Crawford maintains that these allegations were baseless and have yet to be proven.
