Business and Professional Women’s Club, St. Kitts (“BPW St. Kitts”) wishes to congratulate two of the Federation’s most recent awardees, on their excellence in academic achievement, in the fields of law and medicine.
Ms. Danni Maynard, daughter of Police Commissioner, Ian Queeley and Merlese Maynard, recently graduated from the Norman Manley Law School. Ms. Maynard was not only awarded the usual professional certification that is awarded to any law student who completed their course of study and training at the Law school, but quite phenomenally she was awarded the Law School’s most prestigious award, a Legal Education Certificate of Merit. The Certificate of Merit is only awarded to students who obtain not less than nine “A” grades throughout their course. Her achievement is also unparalleled by any female in the Federation, to date, as she is the first female to receive such an award.
BPW St. Kitts also congratulates Ms. Dasima Martin on her accomplishments, in the field of medicine. Ms. Martin, daughter of former Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Earl Asim Martin and Ms. Diana Warner, graduated from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Jamaica, on the 4th November, with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She now joins the ranks of the Federation’s Medical Doctors/ Surgeons.
BPW St. Kitts wishes both women the very best, as they embark upon their respective careers.
