The prevalence of snakes in the federation seems to be on the rise. The snake was common Kittitian creature on the islands some centuries ago. However mangoose were brought into the islands specifically to eradicate snakes and they were successful as hundreds of years would go by before the federation began to report sitings all over both islands but in particular nevis . However In the last few years alone almost a dozen snakes have been sighted throughout both islands.
At least a dozen snakes have been captured over the last 24 months .

According to sources the creature was found by the very popular Nevisian based DJ who goes by the name DJ Woodis.
