After weeks of negotiations between the organizers of the hugely successful Party Central and the Carnival Committee it was announced on Wednesday that Party Central has been named as the OFFICIAL Carnival Village for Sugar Mas 44.

The New Party Central will now operate at a much larger and more convenient area on Bank Street in the heart of Basseterre. The Party Central will see the same high level of entertainment activities and scores of vendors which will now line the street from West Indepenence Sq Street to the circus.

The New Party Central and Official Sugar Mas Village will be launced on Friday December 11^th at 4pm. Nu-Vybes Band International aka De Sugar Band will be the headliners for the Opening Night event.

The Party Central and Official Sugar Mas Village is expected to feature almost 24/7 activity during the carnival season.  It is expected however that during the times of the National Carnival Shows and Miss Caribbean Teen Pageant the Party Central /Sugar Mas Village will not host any activitiy that will clash with said events. Instead they will operate to accommodate the staging and full participation of said shows by the general public.
