Carter 2nd and Collins 4th in Rome Diamond League as Justin Gatlin Blazes to another blistering victory

American sprinter Justin Gatlin wins the 100m at the Diamond League in Rome, with Jamaica’s Nesta Carter second , Britain’s Adam Gemili third and Caribbean Sprint Legend the evergreen Kim Collins placing 4th.

The 2004 Olympic champion led from the gun to record a time of 9.91 seconds, with Carter posting 10.02 seconds and Gemili 10.07 seconds – both seasons bests and the 38 year old Collins rounding off the top 4 with a 10.14 secs run.

Gatlin served a four-year ban between 2006 and 2010 having testing positive for a banned substance.
Collins is having another incredible start to an already legendary career. The World Masters Sprint Record Holder continues to amaze out shining fellow sprinters who were born after the St.Kitts sprinter participated in his first Olympics in Atlanta in 1996.
