Former St.Kitts-Nevis Track Star Busted with Guns and Drugs
Basseterre, St.Kitts (October 21st 2015):- Former St.Kitts-Nevis National Junior Track Star Chavez Nital was among two men arrested and charged in a recent bust by the Royal St.Christopher and Nevis Police Force Special Services Unit. As a result of a search carried out by the Special Forces one loaded 9 mm semi-automatic pistol and three (3) rounds of ammunition and a quantity of dried marijuana was found in a house occupied by Chavez Nital and Davreen Brownbill aka Billy Bang Slaughter.
Both men were arrested and charged for the 1) Possession of an illegal firearm, 2) Possession of ammunition, 3) Possession of Cannabis ( Marijuana) and 4) Possession of Cannabis (marijuana) with intent to supply.
The now 26 year old Nital is well known for at one time being one of the top Junior athletes in the federation. In 2010 he led the Sandy Point High School to Back to Back Interschool Championship. He also represented the federation and copped gold at various regional Junior Track Meets including Carifta and the Leeward Islands Junior Meet in 2007 and 2008 respectively.
