Local tradesmen and contractors will have an opportunity to engage in ongoing developmental work at Christophe Harbour, as the country’s largest tourism-oriented development prepares to enter new phases of development. There are people out there who may be looking to start a business as a carpenter, electrician or a plumber, but may not be sure how to go about it. For any business, having a website is important, as this could hopefully help attract potential clients. Websites For Tradesmen, for example, could be something worth looking into, as this could be a start to creating a successful business in the trades industry. Those who are interested in creating a trades business, such as an HVAC company, will not only need a website, they will need to ensure that they have a plan that can support their company. In a new post from SGI, they explain the importance of business consulting and how it can help trade businesses to develop. This is fundamentally important for those who are interested in developing property since they will want to find reputable trades services to help with development.

Christophe Harbour is a 2,500-acre development that includes residential properties, a superyacht marina, retail stores, restaurants, a soon to be completed Customs House, as well as the prestigious Park Hyatt Resort that will be opened in 2017.

The ongoing developments taking place now demand further skilled services to complement existing contractors operating on the site.

Christophe Harbour Development (CHD) is turning to local tradesmen and contractors to support further expansion in all areas of trades work at the facility.

Skilled persons and companies in all construction trades can become sub-contractors to existing site contractors in over 25 areas, said an official from Christophe Harbour Development.

The company plans to begin working with additional sub-contractors to ensure the availability of skill-sets for developmental purposes over the next four to five years. The company official said, “It’s a great opportunity for local tradesmen and sub-contractors to become involved in the opportunities upcoming at Christophe Harbour.”

As a consequence, a special job fair for sub-contractors is being organized for Friday, 7th April, at the New Town Community Centre.

To ensure a high level of efficiency at the Sub-Contractors Job Fair, the official explained
that candidates for sub-contracting work must register by completing and submitting a form that would be available from Christophe Harbour’s office in Frigate Bay, as well as from the Contractors Association and from the Department of Labour.

Both these organizations, recognizing the significance of additional job creation, have joined with Christophe Harbour to facilitate increased access to the registration forms. The official indicated that the registration form provides crucial information that sub-contracting candidates need to know, while, at the same time, it provides Christophe Harbour information on skill-sets and other pertinent information that will feed into the job fair.

Christophe Harbour sets a new standard for luxury living in the Caribbean. Set across 2,500
untouched acres on the island of St Kitts, this unique development brings together a world-class
superyacht marina with 24 berths, high-end real estate opportunities and unique amenities in an
exclusive community that embraces the good life.
