The Island of Nevis has been plunged into a state of mourning as news circulates regarding the sudden passing of Mr. Carl Williams. The Popular Permanent Secretary in the Nevis Island Administration’s Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Information, passed away early Sunday evening.
A longtime and respected Civil Servant Williams was a former Principal at the St. James Primary School and Deputy Principal at the Gingerland Secondary School.
He was the husband of the island’s lone female Member of Parliament, Hon. Hazel Brandy-Williams who just hours Earlier was elected as the first Female Chairperson of the Concerned Citizens Movement
