Key on his travel agenda will be his participation in the National Academy of Sciences, Conference later this week in DC, held under the banner, “GROWING THE CARIBBEAN INNOVATION ECONOMY.”

Prime Minister Mitchell, in his capacity as Lead Prime Minister for Science and Technology under CARICOM, will deliver the keynote address on Thursday, under the theme “The Grand Anse Initiative and Its Objectives.”

He will also chair the High Level Panel geared toward moving the agenda forward.

In both New York and DC, the Grenadian leader will hold several meetings with members of the Diaspora and business communities.

Dr. Keith Mitchell returns to Grenada on Saturday, September 17th. In his absence, Honourable Gregory Bowen will be the Acting Prime Minister.
