Devastated children of murdered couple brand "paradise" St Kitts "Devil Island"
The devastated family of a Birmingham couple shot dead in their beds in St Kitts have labelled the paradise retreat “Devil Island” and pledged to fight on for justice.
Great-grandparents Mildred and James Daniel were murdered in their villa, in April 2010.
The couple, originally from Small Heath, had saved all their lives for the idyllic four bedroomed home but were killed just five months after retiring there.
James, aged 77, was shot in the head while Mildred, 75, was shot in the chest and abdomen. No-one has ever been brought to justice for the horrific crime.
