The Nu-Vybes International aka the Sugar Band had hundreds jumping and singing their latest chant R.E.S.P.E.C.T . No doubt inspired by the famous line by rapper Birdman “Put Some Respect on My Name” the iconic Mr Mention dropped another heavy hit on the Labour Day revelers .  “R.E.S.P.E.C.T When you call my name !”  was the refrain that had the streets of Basseterre Live and Lively during what has now become the annual Sugar Band Labour Day Jam Session.

Mr. Mention was in peak form as he belted out the latest chant much to the delight of the hundreds waving and jamming through the Basseterre streets.

Sugar Band led by Mr Mention remains one of the most popular band in the Caribbean. Mention in particular stands as one of the most legendary Lead singers in the region over the last 25 years along with the likes of the late Daddy Friday of the Awesome Jam Band and Onyan of the Burning Flames among others.
