The teenage suspect in the stabbing death last month of Micoud resident, David Egarnest, has been released pending further investigation into the homicide and advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), law enforcement sources have confirmed.
The seventeen year old male was released from police custody last weekend, according to reports.
The suspect was arrested after the stabbing death of David Egarnest, 21.
Egarnest was stabbed on the Micoud Playing Field at around 10.pm on Monday, July 31.
He was conveyed to St. Jude Hospital via ambulance and succumbed to his injuries the following day, according to a police statement.
