The St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF) has received a significant collection of memorabilia and items of historical importance from the family of the late Captain Errol Maynard, a former Commander of the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla Defence Force (SKNADF).

On January 21, 2025, Major Kayode Sutton, Acting Commander of the SKNDF, met with Ms. Eleisa Maynard, one of Captain Maynard’s daughters, to accept the donation. The collection includes a range of invaluable artifacts such as musical recordings, band items, historical military books, training manuals, pamphlets, plaques, medals, and photographs documenting the legacy of the SKNADF.

Major Sutton expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Maynard for her generosity and her commitment to preserving the memory of her father’s contributions. He also assured her that these items would serve as educational tools for members of the Force, offering insights into the SKNDF’s history and inspiring future generations of service personnel.

Captain Maynard, who dedicated 19 years to the SKNADF, made a lasting impact through his leadership and service. His legacy continues to shape the development of the SKNDF and the nation’s military heritage.
