Days after Prime Minister of St.Kitts-Nevis Dr. Hon. Timothy Harris announced a historic Economic Stimulus package for the country which included an Extra Months Salary for Civil Servants other institutions from both the private sector and the statutory organizations have joined the government in offering an extra month’s salary or significant bonuses to workers.

Sources have indicated that SKELEC, the Tourism Authority, SCASPA, PEP and UDC will all be offering an extra months salary for the month of December. This will further enhance the already significant Sugar Mas/Christmas economic stimulus package. According to PM Harris during a radio address the Nation the economic stimulus package as outlined will pump an estimated $30 million into the economy during the month of December. With statutory bodies such as SCASPA, SKELEC, Tourism Authority as well as the PEP Workers being added this would result at least in an xtra few millions that will be pumped into an already vibrant and robust economy.

Reports also indicate that a number of major Private Sector companies will also be offering their employees Double Salary or an extra bonus for the upcoming Sugar Mas 45 season.

Economists as well as retailers have indicated that with Double Salary Economic Stimulus Package his December 16^th 2016 will be by far the Biggest Sales Day in the history of the federation
