Minister Grant Inspects Shelter

 

 

(September 5th )Minister of Tourism, Industry, Trade and Commerce the Hon. Lindsay Grant spent the last 48 hours pounding the pavement in the various villages within the constituency 4 where he is the elected Parliamentary Representative. The Constituency#4 MP made the rounds beginning on Monday morning with visits to the various Emergency Shelters in the constituency including the Community Centers in Old Road and Challengers among others. Hon. Grant also visited scores of constituents mainly the vulnerable and facilitated and or provided assistance . The Constituency Rep Hon. Grant also spent a significant portion of the time visiting residents on the coastline ,many of whom are elderly and encouraged them to evacuate and move into the shelters that have been identified .

“I spent the entire day yesterday in my constituency visiting all the shelters and as many residences as I could. Additionally today the entire day was spent in the constituency encouraging persons close to the sea to evacuate, “ said Hon. Grant  

Hon. Grant continued by imploring god’s blessings on his constituents and the entire country as they brace for Hurricane Irma

Hon. Grant said “ I pray to God that all would be safe and my prayers and thoughts are with all constituents as we go through these trying moments.”
