The Kittitian Hill Resort will be hosting an upcoming Career Fair in an effort  to recruit  additional staff as they seek  enthusiastic friendly Kittitians and Nevisians with a great attitude to join their  hospitality team  for the upcoming Tourist Season according to a release issued by the resort on Tuesday.

The release rubbishes claims made by the leadership of the Opposition St.Kitts-Nevis Labour Party who have declared on a number of radio stations that the resort will be closing permanently  . Concerns were further heightened when an article appeared online supporting the claims made by the Opposition and stated  in part, “It is now almost certain that Kittitian Hill, an ecological tourism development in the Belmont Estate area (St. Paul’s), will now close its doors once and for all. Over the past few weeks, employees at all levels of the organization have been sent home. Today, September 1, another 22 persons were sent home while the truth of the fate of Kittitian Hill remains hidden from employees and citizens of the country.”

The Release issued by the resort goes completely contrary to the claims made by the Opposition.  The release stated that September 1st through to October 31st 2015 will mark the period of the seasonal closure for 2015. The release stated the annual seasonal closure  period will allow the opportunity for hotel improvements in preparation for the high season when the hotel  and the Dining facility known as “The Kitchen” will re-open on Sunday November 1^st 2015.

The Resort Farm will re-open with and increased 84 Guesthouses, 10 three and four-bedroom Villas and one four-bedroom Farmhouse. Culinary experiences will include The Kitchen & Mill Bar, the Pool Grille, The Farm, Story-telling at Coco House and Arthur’s sea-to-fork restaurant. Other amenities will include our tennis courts, Mango Walk Wellness Centre and Irie Fields 18-hole championship golf course. Our 100% organic golf course was recently certified by the Golf Environmental Organization (GEO) and will officially open during the month of November.
