Hon. Eugene Hamiltom Makes Good on $10,000 Promise
(P.A.M COMS) 2 JULY 2016 – After Guaranteeing a personal donation to both teams vying for the 2016 S.K.N.F.A Championship totaling $5000 dollars. The Hon. Eugene Hamilton decided that both teams represented their communities and constituency so well that he would increase the amount to a total of $10’000 dollars.
The first donation went to the winning team the Flow 4g rockets during their celebratory community fun day at Maynard’s Park, Cayon on Saturday. Hon. Hamilton the representative for constituency eight wrote a personalcheque on the spot for $6000. He made the presentation to team captain Clyde Mitcham and told the elated crowd that he is extremely proud in the way both teams handled themselves and the high standard of play they exhibited.
The Minister assured the crowd that his support for sporting teams in his constituency is guaranteed and he will do whatever he can to see that all teams progress. During his presentation in parliament on Thursday, he declared that he wants to see the Keys football field completed and have 4 teams from his constituency represented in the final four.
Hamilton a former player with Cayon, earlier this year donated full kits to St. Peters FC, Conaree fc and eventual champion Cayon fc.
The donation of $4000 to runners up Conaree Fc will be done at a later date
