Anthony Galloway Appointed Acting CEO of St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank

In a recent announcement, Anthony Galloway has taken the reins as Acting CEO of the St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank, succeeding Donald Thompson, who tendered his resignation effective September 30th, 2023. Galloway, a seasoned banking professional, brings a wealth of experience and a distinguished academic background to his new role.

Galloway holds a Masters of Arts (MA) in Banking and Finance from Sheffield Hallam University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting and Data Processing Combined (Hons) from the University of Leeds. His dedication to excellence in the field of finance is further underlined by his membership in the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the prestigious fellowship he received in 2008.

With over two decades of banking expertise, Galloway has held pivotal roles within the institution, including Manager of the Comptroller Division and Principal to the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange for the Bank’s Brokerage Department. His extensive tenure since 1994 and multifaceted roles, including that of Chief Financial Officer and Certified Internal Auditor, stand as a testament to his commitment to the institution’s growth and financial integrity.

Additionally, Galloway contributes as a part-time facilitator for the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank’s Savings and Investment Course, further exemplifying his dedication to advancing financial education in the region. His appointment as Acting CEO signifies a continuation of the bank’s commitment to excellence and stability in the financial sector.
