Randolph , Massachusetts(June 21 2015):- Randolph Town Councillor Ken Clifton returned from St. Kitts to Randolph after an historic speech as the featured speaker at the Golden Anniversary Convention of the People’s Action Movement (P.A.M).

The People’s Action Movement forms part of the Governing Alliance of Government of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Clifton extended greetings on behalf of the people of Randolph and spoke of the vision of the town to become the best community in Massachusetts.

The centerpiece of the presentation surrounded ideas for national development of St. Kitts and Nevis.  Clifton suggested that priority for the country should be on educational opportunities at the highest level, national security ensuring the safety of its citizens, economic development to empower the people and transparency which engenders truth, trust and reconciliation.

Clifton also urged the citizens to be united as a country divided is unlikely to be sustainable and successful.

The historic convention also was addressed by the First Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. the Right Honorable Sir Kennedy Simmonds who brought independence to the country in 1983.

The convention was addressed by other local leaders and was attended by members of Parliament, ambassadors and other diplomats, dignitaries and local residents.

Clifton was born in St. Kitts and Nevis before migrating to the U.S. as a teenager.
