Plans are in the final stage for TONIGHT’s National Thanksgiving Service organized by the Team UNITY at the Greenlands Park.

Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris, among his commitments in the lead up to the February 16^th  Election , was a National Service of Thanksgiving . Dr. Harris indicated throughout the Election Campaign that it was essential that God be given thanks and praise for his guidance throughout what was essentially a grueling two year election campaign. He declared that a service of Thanksgiving would be pursued upon taking office to ensure that due recognition is given to God and to serve as an event of healing, Unity and the catalyst for a fresh start and new beginning.

Officials from the CCM led NIA as well as other Nevisians are expected to attend and participate in the National Event.

The service begins at 7pm and will feature Prophet Bonitto Sappleton from Jamaica and members of the local Christian Council and Evangelical Assocations. The praise and worship will be led by the Cayon Church of God Band and will also include performances by local gospel artistes.

All residents of the federation are invited regardless of political affiliation. It is expected to be a service og healing, unity and thanksgiving .
