Christophe Harbour Resort in St. Kitts to Open Superyacht Marina Village in 2017
A popular port for superyachts, St. Kitts will soon be an even more desirable destination for boaters. Luxury resortChristophe Harbour is adding an elaborate superyacht marina village to its grounds, offering Caribbean yachters a new spot to shop and socialize.
The Customs House—an 11,000-square-foot building that resembles a wharf-side warehouse from days gone by—will serve as the focal point of the community. Featuring arched doorways and handmade bricks, the Customs House will include a fitness center, real estate center, crew lounge, customs and immigration station, and marina operations post. In addition, the village will showcase a wide variety of cafes, boutiques, and stores, as well as a specially commissioned rum shop that will sell local small-batch spirits. Overlooking the marina and Caribbean Sea, the rooftop terraces can be rented for private events. The village is scheduled to be completed in early 2017. (christopheharbour.com)
