18 year old Maverick Joseph is said to be in police custody on St.Vincent in connection with the stabbing incident at a primary school that left Police Officer Giovanni Charles dead.

Witnesses report that the officer was stabbed in the neck by a assailant who was attempting to enter the school fair without paying.

It is believed Officer Charles was providing security at the event. It is still unclear what caused the incident as investigations are on going.
