Speaking to Investment Migration Insider during this week’s Investment Migration Forum in Geneva, Mohammed Asaria, founder of Range Developments, adopted a decidedly sanguine attitude toward recent malevolent attacks on his firm’s reputation.
“It was very surprising to me that I had been purportedly detained in China when I was in Geneva […] It’s a shame that fake news has been circulating and has been picked up given how obviously fake it is, especially given the gentleman can’t even spell the word ‘Caribbean’ in the article. But it’s a real pleasure being here in Geneva at the IMC’s conference showcasing the projects that we’ve developed in the Caribbean,” said Asaria.

“We put all this fake news behind us and we focus on what we do best, which is build, deliver, and fulfill our obligations,” said the founder.
We note that while Mr. Asaria has remained unperturbed by the libelous article, he has not entirely laid the matter to rest; according to recent statements, his firm is pursuing legal actions against the perpetrator(s) and preparing lawsuits in four jurisdictions.
