WASHINGTON: Nevis Premier Vance Amory To Meet With St.Kitts-Nevis Nationals In Washington, DC.

Basseterre, St.Kitts (TUCOM):- Hon. Vance Amory, Senior Minister and Minister of Nevis Affairs, Labor, Social Security and Ecclesiastical Affairs in the Federal Government of St.Kitts-Nevis as well as Premier and Minister of Finance, Education, Labor, Trade and Industry in the Nevis Island Administration will be hosting a Townhall Meeting in Washington, DC for ALL St.Kitts-Nevis Nationals in the DC and surrounding areas.

Premier Amory is expected to engage Nationals and provide a progress report on the transition that is underway as the Nation comes together under the  newly-elected Team Unity Government.

The meeting will be held on Saturday April 18, 2015 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Bethesda Marriott, 5151 Pooks Hill Road, Bethesda, MD 20814.

All Nationals of St.Kitts-Nevis are invited to attend and participate as The Premier pursues  new opportunities for strengthening the bonds that now exist between Kittitians and Nevisians widely dispersed across the Diaspora.

Premier Amory is currently in Washington, DC representing the federation on behalf of Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris at the World Bank Spring Meetings.

Directions to the Bethesda Marriott

  • From Washington DC: Take Massachusetts Ave. to Wisconsin Ave. Travel 4.8 miles. Then continue on MD355 N / Rockville Pike for 1.4 miles. Turn left on to Pooks Hill Road. Hotel is on the right.
  • From Virginia: Take I-495 N to Exit 34 South. Turn right at first traffic light onto Pooks Hill Rd. Hotel is on the right.
  • From Baltimore: Take 95S to I-495 W to Exit 34 South. Turn left at first traffic light (south toward Wisconsin Ave, Rte 355 south). Turn right at next traffic light onto Pooks Hill Rd. Hotel is on the right. Metro Rail: Take the Red Line in the direction of Shady Grove/Grosvenor.
