Castries, Saint Lucia – Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre is set to embark on a short vacation, with plans to leave the island on Friday, March 29th, and return on Thursday, April 4th, 2024. During his absence, Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Ernest Hilaire will step in to fulfill the duties of Prime Minister, as well as assume the roles of Minister for Finance, Economic Development, and Youth Economy, along with Minister for Justice and National Security.
