The People’s Action Movement is less than 24 hours away from staging theor historic 50th Anniversary Convention.
The convention takes place on Sunday June 14th at the Party Headquarters on Lockhart Street in Fortlands.
Hundreds are expected to pack the historyc party headquarter to celebrate with the rank and file and the leadership of the country’s second oldest political party.
Nevis Premier Hon. Vance Amory and UN Ambassador His Excellency Sam Condor have confirmed their attendance representing the CCM and the PLP respectively. The CCM Concerned Citizens Movement and the PLP Peoples Labour Party are partners with the People’s Action Movement in the historic Team UNITY Administration led by Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris.
Deputy Premier of Nevis and the Concerned Citizens Movement the Hon. Mark Brantley was the featured speaker at last year’s convention. US City Councillman Ken W. Clifton will be the featured speaker for this year’s event. PAM Leader and Deputy Prime Mnister Hon. Shawn K Richards will also give a feature address.
The convention begins at 1:30pm at PAM Headquarters.
