PAM Convention 2015 Audience

Basseterre, St.Kitts (April 23rd, 2019) The annual Caucus will take place on Wednesday  April 24th  and will see delegates from All 8 constituencies convene and discuss current issues  relevant to the party and also the country.  The caucus is the forum at which delegates of the party will decide on the executive that will guide the work of the 54 year Old movement for the next year. All posts are up for election except party leader, The Hon.Shawn Richards retained his position for a mandate period of 3 years  as party leader at the 2018 caucus. The Caucus will feature reports by members of the executive, by the various constituencies and sub branches within the Party.

The current executive officers are:

  • Hon. Eugene Hamilton- First Deputy Leader
  • Cyndie Demming- Second Deputy Leader
  • HE Jonel Powell-Chairman
  • Shirley Julius – General Secretary

  • Jonelle Rawlins – Public Relations Officer

The National Convention will take place 4 days  later on Sunday April 28th  .

Convention Attendees will hear presentations from all candidates on the successes of the party and their performance as partners in the historic Team UNITY Government.

The Convention over it’s 50 plus year history  has featured speakers like then Opposition Leader and now Jamaican Prime Minister  Andrew Holness and Nevisian Deputy Premier Hon Mark Brantley in recent years  as well as former St.Lucia and Dominica Leaders the Late John Compton and Dame Eugenia Charles during the Party’s rule in the 80’s .
