Opposition St.Kitts-Nevis Labour Party Leader Dr. Denzil Douglas declares support for KONRIS MAYNARD as new party Leader.
Dr. Denzil Douglas leader of the SKNLP has encouraged members of his party to put their support behind Konris Maynard as the new leader of the 90 year old party. In an audio that has been making the rounds on social media Dr. Douglas can be heard telling a Constituency Group Virtual meeting that they should give their support to Konris Maynard. He further stated that Dr. Terrance Drew was disrespectful and should not be considered. The Ex Prime Minister was also suggesting that the leadership conference originally slated for next month should be postponed 6 months which would allow a smoother transition to Konris Maynard.
